Thank you sincerely for using Roland products.

On September 5, 2019, we announced that the Windows 10 driver could not be installed correctly. Microsoft investigated this, and we have verified that the driver can now be installed correctly.
We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

Follow the steps below to install the Windows 10 driver.
  1. Make sure the computer you're using is connected to the Internet, then use a USB cable to connect the unit and the computer and turn on the power.
The driver is automatically downloaded from the Internet.
    * Under normal conditions, the driver installation is completed in several minutes. It may take about 10 minutes depending on the Internet connectivity or if there are other drivers being installed for other devices.

Next, make sure the Windows 10 driver has been installed correctly.

  2. In Windows, right-click the Start button and display the Device Manager.
  3. In the window that appears, double-click "Sound, video and game controllers" to display a list of devices.
  4. Check whether the connected unit is displayed in the device list.
If the unit is displayed, this means that the Windows 10 driver has been installed correctly.

If it does not appear in the list of devices, carry out the following procedure.
  5. Check "Other devices" or "Unknown device" to find where the connected unit appears.
  6. Right-click the connected unit, then click "Update driver."
  7. When the window for choosing the driver search method appears, click "Search automatically for updated driver software."
A search for the driver starts, and the driver is installed automatically.
  8. When the message "Windows has successfully updated your drivers." appears, click [Close].
The Windows 10 driver has been installed correctly.
    * If the latest version of the driver is already installed, the message "The best drivers for your device are already installed." is displayed.
